You see their smiles around our school, but how well do you really know the amazing people who make Sage Hills shine? 💙
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing you to some of the teachers, staff, and familiar faces who help make our school such a special place. From favorite books and hobbies to fun facts and hidden talents, you might just learn something new about the people behind the smiles!

Our school has adopted about 30 monarch caterpillars this year, and several of our classes have given their little friends names and are helping take care of them. Many of our caterpillars entered their chrysalis stage last week, and now the countdown is on! They’ll spend about 10–14 days tucked away in their chrysalises before emerging as beautiful monarch butterflies.
Once they emerge, they’ll get their very own butterfly tags and be released to begin their incredible journey south to Mexico.
Summer monarchs may live only about three weeks, but these special fall travelers are in it for the long haul! They’ll make the journey to Mexico, spend the winter there, and eventually begin the trip back north. We feel pretty lucky to get a front-row seat to this amazing transformation and migration right here at school!

Our character focus for the month of September is respect. Students can earn their character focus button by showing respect for teachers and other students around the school.
The PTA Reflections Art Contest is now open! Students can share their creativity and talents through art, music, photography, literature, dance, and more.
Submissions are being accepted now through October 2nd!

All students have been officially recruited as agents in an important mission this year--to learn new things, support their team, and make this the greatest school year yet!
Each month, agents will have the opportunity to focus on a special character trait, complete their mission with that character trait, and earn the Spy Focus Button to add to their agent badge.
And there’s more… every month, each teacher will choose an Agent of the Month—a student who goes above and beyond in demonstrating that month’s character trait.
We can’t wait to see our agents focus on their goals, complete their missions and earn their badges. Keep your eyes open for more classified information and mission updates throughout the year.

School year 2026-27 is officially underway. We were so excited to have students back at Sage Hills yesterday and to see their excitement and smiles. Here's to a great year of learning and of making fun memories!! Welcome back Thunderhawks!
One of our favorite Sage Hills traditions is welcoming graduating seniors back to walk our halls in their caps and gowns. We love seeing our former Thunderhawks all grown up, and our students love cheering on the graduates. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
We have such amazing people working here. We are so happy to celebrate these two for winning Teacher of the Year and Employee of the Year at Sage Hills!
